in this series Akihisa while on a date with his secret at the time girlfriend yuuko were caught in a mass demon possession.

akihisa's pure heart allowed him to take over the demon and absorb it becoming the half demon warrior from hell Devilman, and in moments he slaughtered  all the demons and now is struggling with keeping his humanity.
